The French Girls Banana-Chocolate / Curry Pecan Recipe

Alright....I heard you the first time.

You know Klecko hates typing recipes, but apparently enough of the KleckoNation are interested that it may be worth my while.

2/3 cup AP flour
2/3 cup Wholewheat flour
1 tsp B-soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground Ginger
1 1/2 tsp Curry
8 ounces Olive Oil
2/3 cup Sugar
2 large ripe Banana (mashed)
2 Eggs (room temp and lightly whipped)
1 cup chopped Pecan
1 cup semi sweet Chocolate Chips (or chunks)

Fill your foil 2/3rds full

Place in an oven preheated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, this may seem hot, but trust me, you need extra heat to make quick breads "POP".

After 8-10 minutes (depending on the size of your items) reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake until finished. If it is a 1# to a 1 1/2# unit....your total time should be in the 45-55 minute range.

*Helpful Tip -

also it is good to know that the quick bread will start to pull away from the foil walls as it come close to finishing.

also there is no need to grease the foils beforehand. The oil from the recipe is more than enough to help your bread slide out of most forms.
